What about molecules of life?

A human is a great Nature creature than contains millions of living units denominated Cells. Inside a Cell occurs a lot of events that include specific chemical transformations. These biochemical reactions provide Cell with usable energy and molecules needed to form its structure and coordinate its activities.

Water, inorganic ions, and a large array of relatively small organic molecules (e.g., sugars, vitamins, fatty acids) account for 75 – 80 percent of living matter by weight.

Crucial to the carbon-based life on the Earth are several types of biologically-essential molecules. The basic types of molecules are carbohydrates, lipids, proteins and nucleic acids. The chemistry of these carbon-based molecules is included in the field of organic chemistry with the specific life-related processes forming the field of biochemistry.
